Junggle Green

I found the “Jungle Green” project both challenging and educational. Originally, the deadline was set for week 29, so I had planned out a clear schedule for the individual tasks (logo, labels, packaging, poster). However, due to the water damage that knocked out the printers in the M-Pool, the final submission got pushed back to August 28th in week 35 — which added extra time pressure, since I also had to prepare the presentation aswell.

The requirement that, from week 29 onward, I could keep working at home but wasn’t allowed to completely redesign the existing concept forced me to stick consistently with my original idea and just develop it further, rather than spontaneously changing everything. That was a bit frustrating at first, but in hindsight it turned out to be the right call, since it kept a consistent thread running through the whole project.

Despite the shifted deadlines and the periods of pressure, I managed to finish and submit everything required on time — the logo in different sizes and color variants, all the labels, the finished packaging, and the advertising poster. Overall, I’m satisfied with the final result, and what I take away from this project is how important it is to stay flexible with your schedule when unexpected delays (like the printer breakdown) happen.
